storefront Restaurant billing software · India & UAE

The POS that tells you where the money went.

Billing, kitchen tickets, waiter app, delivery, cash close and 17 reports — in one app, on the tablet and printer you already own.

₹149 a month for billing. ₹999 for everything. 14 days free, no card — then ₹1 for your first month in India.

500+ restaurants across India and the UAE.

You already know the three things that go wrong.

The drawer is short and nobody knows why. By the time you look, the shift is closed and the story has been agreed on.

The quote was one price and the bill was another. The kitchen screen was extra. QR was extra. Loyalty was extra.

The internet drops at 8:40 pm and the counter stops taking money.

Dinelax was built at the counter, in that order.

lock The one nobody else sells

Money you can't lose

Every rupee that comes in is tied to a name, a shift and a number nobody can rewrite.

check_circle You find out about a short drawer the same night — not from your accountant in March.

What's inside

Blind cash count

expand_more

The cashier types what she counted before the app shows her what it should be — and once she locks it in, that number cannot be changed, not even from a second tablet. A shift opened by you or your manager is deliberately not blind: you see every total up front, and that is also how a locked cashier count gets corrected — the only other thing that reopens it is the app itself, when money lands after the count and it makes her recount.

In every plan

A void leaves a trail

expand_more

A cancelled bill comes out of sales and out of tax but stays on file with who cancelled it, when, and why. Only the owner login can void — a manager or cashier can't.

In every plan Owner login

A discount ceiling with your PIN above it

expand_more

Set the most a cashier may knock off; anything above needs your PIN, so nobody quietly discounts their friends. Discount is bill-level — there is no per-item discount in Dinelax.

In every plan

Bill numbers that cannot repeat

expand_more

The app refuses to re-issue a number a bill already carries — after a restore, a device swap, or a bad sync. A voided bill keeps its number, because the audit needs the gap explained, not hidden.

In every plan

The drawer opens only when cash changes hands

expand_more

Card, credit, partner orders, pre-bills and reprints leave it shut, so an open drawer always means money moved. The cash half of a split bill does open it. Needs a drawer wired to the printer's kick port.

In every plan

Recount guards

expand_more

If a late bill lands, or someone edits an expense after the count, the app makes her count the drawer again instead of passing a bogus "balanced". The count it checks against is stored in the cloud, not in the screen she is looking at — closing the app does not reset it.

Billing at the counter

Three taps from an empty cart to a printed tax invoice — dine-in, takeaway, delivery or pickup.

check_circle A new cashier is useful on their first shift, and the queue keeps moving.

What's inside

Four order types, one till, one invoice series

expand_more

Dine-in, takeaway, delivery and counter-pickup all ring up on the same screen and print TABLE / PARCEL / DELIVERY / PICKUP on the slip.

Delivery and pickup flows need Pro or the delivery add-on.

In every plan

Every way they pay

expand_more

Cash, card, UPI (India), part-cash-part-card, on credit — plus any method you invent, like Bank Transfer or Cheque. Each lands on its own line in every report instead of falling into "cash".

In every plan

Split the bill — properly

expand_more

By items, it prints genuinely separate bills, each with its own items and its own payment method. Equal mode mints one bill and shows the per-head share to collect; it does not print four receipts.

In every plan

Pay later

expand_more

Fire it to the kitchen, park it as Pending with a slip marked PAY AT COUNTER — UNPAID, free the table now, settle when they come back. A Pending bill counts zero in every drawer figure until it's settled, and the day close won't run over one.

In every plan

Sizes, paid extras and combo meals

expand_more

Half / Full, "extra cheese", and a fixed-price combo whose contents print on the kitchen slip. The price freezes onto the line the moment it's added, so a menu change tomorrow never rewrites yesterday's bill.

In every plan

Pre-bill, reprint, WhatsApp

expand_more

A proforma marked PRE BILL — not a tax invoice while you keep editing the cart; a second copy stamped REPRINT with the drawer staying shut; or the whole itemised bill on WhatsApp for the customer who doesn't want paper.

In every plan

The kitchen

Slips print at the right station, or the whole kitchen runs off one tablet — your choice.

check_circle Nothing gets lost between the counter and the pass, and nobody has to shout.

What's inside

A kitchen ticket the second you send

expand_more

Table, seat, zone, order number, items and notes. Tamil or Arabic tickets print as a rendered image — a little slower per slip, correct every time.

Pro — or add just this one (KOT)

Counter-wise KOT

expand_more

Juice items print at the juice counter, tandoor at the tandoor, and the biryani slip never has a lassi on it. This is printer routing: each till pairs its own kitchen printers, and if a station printer is offline the cashier is told — food tickets never quietly reroute to the counter.

Pro — or add just this one (KOT)

Kitchen display on a cheap tablet

expand_more

NEW / COOKING / READY in three columns, a chime when an order lands, colour-coded lateness, per-item tick-off, and a rush flag that pulls a ticket to the top. A board can be set to dining-only or parcel-only — that is the only filter there is; a station shows as a tag on the line, not as its own screen.

Pro — or add just this one (staff, for the kitchen login)

Amendment slips

expand_more

Edit or cancel an order that's already cooking and a slip prints beside the original saying exactly what was added and what was removed — so the kitchen stops making it.

Pro — or add just this one (KOT)

Cook in batches

expand_more

One tap turns the board into "total dishes to cook right now" across every live ticket, so twelve dosas go on together instead of one table at a time.

Pro — or add just this one (staff)

86 a dish from the kitchen tablet

expand_more

When the fish runs out, the chef switches it off and it disappears from the till, the waiter's menu and the customer's QR page instantly. Price and name editing stay in the admin menu — the kitchen can only turn things off and adjust stock.

Pro — or add just this one (staff)

The floor

Waiters order from the table on their own phones; you watch every seat from yours.

check_circle One bill per table, fewer walks to the counter, and a seat that frees the moment they stand up.

What's inside

The waiter app is the same app

expand_more

A waiter signs into the Dinelax install with a mobile number and a 4-digit PIN and lands on the floor plan. No second APK to download, no per-device licence to buy.

Pro — or add just this one (staff)

A live table and seat map

expand_more

Which tables are free, which are eating, how long they've been sitting and what each has run up so far — without walking the floor.

Pro — or add just this one (waiter)

One table, one order number

expand_more

The second and third rounds carry the first round's number with a RUNNING ORDER banner, so the kitchen ties them to the meal already in progress and the customer gets one bill.

Pro — or add just this one (waiter + KOT)

Move a table, move a seat, merge three tables into one bill

expand_more

Two taps, no re-keying. Paper that's already printed keeps the old table number — a human carries the slip across.

Pro — or add just this one (waiter)

The waiter closes the seat; the customer pays at the counter

expand_more

A waiter cannot record a payment — deliberately. The bill parks in the cashier's Pending list under its table number, and the day close won't run until it's settled.

Pro — or add just this one (waiter)

Zones

expand_more

Main Hall / Terrace / AC / VIP, each waiter locked to their own section, and an automatic AC or terrace charge — percentage or flat — on every bill seated in that zone. It applies to seated tables only; a counter parcel is exempt. There is no separate shop-wide service charge.

Pro — or add just this one (waiter)

Online & delivery

Your own delivery, your own customers — and partner orders keyed once, at the partner's own prices.

check_circle Home delivery with nobody's commission on it, and partner money that never quietly lands in your cash drawer.

What's inside

Your own delivery link and QR

expand_more

Put it on your WhatsApp status or a sticker on the bag. The customer browses your live menu, shares their location and orders. It's cash on delivery — there is no online payment gateway in the customer flow, and we won't pretend there is.

Pro — or add just this one (delivery)

The counter accepts or declines, with a promised time

expand_more

A web delivery order does not reach the kitchen until someone at the counter agrees to it; if it's declined the customer sees a real, customer-worded reason on their phone. A dine-in table QR order goes straight to the kitchen — no approval step there.

Pro — or add just this one (delivery)

Your own riders, in the same install

expand_more

They go Online, and the four digits printed on the kitchen ticket are the credential — a rider standing at the pickup counter types them and the order becomes his. Until then every rider's phone shows an order number and nothing else, so the evening's addresses aren't sitting on ten phones.

Pro — or add just this one (delivery + staff)

OTP at the door, and cash that has to be handed over

expand_more

The customer reads out four digits; the rider records cash, card or split; an amber card on his phone shows exactly how much of your money he's still holding, and it clears only when the cashier verifies the handover.

Pro — or add just this one (delivery)

A delivery charge based on how far they actually are

expand_more

Base charge, per-km rate and a free radius, worked out from the customer's location on web orders. A phone order keyed at the counter uses your flat charge instead.

Pro — or add just this one (delivery)

Partner orders, keyed once, at the partner's price

expand_more

Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem, Noon, Smiles, EatEasy, InstaShop, Cari and Munch:On — each with its own marked-up price list, its commission frozen onto the bill for the weekly settlement, and its money kept out of your cash drawer. This is manual entry at the counter, not a live order feed. Those nine are the UAE market; in India a Swiggy or Zomato order is rung as an ordinary takeaway bill.

In every plan the kitchen ticket side needs KOT
info

We do not connect to Swiggy or Zomato.

Your phone at 11 pm

Seventeen reports, tonight's money, and an assistant you can ask in Tamil.

check_circle You close the shop from wherever you are, and you know before you sleep.

What's inside

Tonight's money in one glance

expand_more

Today's sales, tax, order count and discounts, split by dine-in / parcel / delivery / pickup and by every tender — cash, card, UPI, credit, pending, partner, and any method you invented. Step it back to any past day.

In every plan

Seventeen report sections, in the price of billing

expand_more

Summary, Sales Trend, Item Wise, Category Wise, Payment Wise, VAT/GST, Purchases, Credit Book, Profit & Loss, Delivery, Online Partners, Counter Wise, Stock, Cancelled/Void, Staff Sales, Removed & Cancelled, Bill History. Print any of them on the counter's thermal printer, share one as a PDF, or export the whole period as CSV — including every bill line by line for your accountant.

In every plan

Read any report as one drawer's trading

expand_more

Tap a shift chip — "Shift 2 · Kumar" — and sales, payments, items, voids, counters, purchases and credit book re-read as that shift alone, so a cash-up argument is settled against the same numbers the Z-report printed. Chips cover Today and Yesterday. Profit, VAT and expenses stay full-period, because those entries carry no shift stamp.

In every plan Owner login

The close report reaches your phone

expand_more

The moment a shift or the day closes, the Z-report summary is pre-filled into WhatsApp — sales, bills, payment split, expected versus counted, with the variance called out OVER / SHORT / balanced. And at 10 pm your phone buzzes with the day's total and order count.

Opt-in; needs your number saved.

In every plan

Ask the POS about your own shop

expand_more

Type "today's sales", "top items this week", "credit dues", "low stock?", "this month profit", or a bill number — in English, Tamil, Tanglish, Hindi, Arabic or Malayalam. It reads only your restaurant, it only ever reads (it can't change a price or a bill), it answers in plain words, and it's capped at 50 messages a day — per restaurant, not per person.

In every plan Owner login

Several restaurants on one login

expand_more

Switch between branches and the whole app re-points — menu, staff, bills, reports. Each branch keeps its own books and its own plan, and your 10 pm notification totals across all of them.

Each restaurant carries its own subscription.

In every plan

Everything in the plan is in the plan.

The most repeated complaint about restaurant POS in this market is the add-on bill — QR priced separately, kitchen display priced separately, loyalty priced separately. Here is our whole list. Everything on it is inside Pro at ₹999 — there is no module priced on top of it. On Basic, six of these are optional add-ons instead of a jump to Pro, and we quote you before we switch one on.

"add-on" means exactly six things — kitchen tickets, waiter, delivery, inventory, staff and customer QR. A ₹149 shop that wants only kitchen printing can have only kitchen printing. You can't switch it on yourself in the app — you ask us, and we do it.

Pro is everything. Nothing on this page is a paid module on top of Pro.

We don't publish other vendors' prices — they don't publish them either. Ask whoever you're comparing us with for their year-one number in writing, with QR, kitchen display and loyalty included. Then read this table again.

Use the printer you already own.

No proprietary terminal, no rented hardware, no "certified device".

desktop_windows

No special driver — and we check the spooler first, so bills never pile up in a queue against a printer that's switched off.

dinner_dining

Kitchen printers pair on each till

Two tills means pairing the kitchen printers on both — they're deliberately stored on the device, not in the cloud.

Devices: up to 5 on one account — counter tablet, second till, your phone, the kitchen screen, a waiter tablet. The 5 are shared across all your restaurants.

Windows till: the desktop till pairs with a one-time code generated in the Android app — no username, no password. Pairing starts on the phone, so set the phone up first.

The internet dies. The counter doesn't.

We'll be specific, because everyone claims this and nobody explains it.

Works with no internet at all

  • check Ringing, numbering and printing a bill
  • check The whole menu, discounts, splits, reprints
  • check Reports and Dashboard over the data already on the device
  • check Kitchen tickets and orders — they print now and upload when you're back
  • check Staff shift PIN sign-in
cloud

Needs a connection

  • radio_button_unchecked The first login on a new device
  • radio_button_unchecked Opening or closing a cash shift
  • radio_button_unchecked Seeing bills rung on another device
  • radio_button_unchecked A void PIN on a device that has never synced

The bill on the device is the source of truth; the cloud copy is written afterwards and never waited for. That's why the queue keeps moving.

And when a device comes back online, the bills it rang during the outage are pushed up on the next successful sync, so the other tills and your dashboard catch up on their own.

Built for your tax office, not translated for it.

UAE

UAE
  • check AED to two decimals — fils kept, nothing rounded — and a single VAT line
  • check Your TRN printed, and the words TAX INVOICE only once you've entered a TRN. An unregistered business must not issue one, so we don't print one
  • check VAT-inclusive menu pricing if that's how you price: the invoice shows the VAT contained in the price and the customer's total doesn't move. Each bill freezes the mode it was rung under
  • check The company (B2B) block — buyer's company name, TRN and address on the invoice, as the FTA asks
  • check Bilingual receipts — Arabic restaurant name and Arabic dish names under the English. Enter the Arabic names on your menu; a shop that enters none prints English only
  • check An FTA-shaped shift report — gross to net to VAT, invoice numbers from and to, top items, tips, signature lines. That detailed layout is the UAE one; India gets the simpler payments-and-drawer report
  • check Per-partner VAT mode — a delivery partner who prices inclusive can be set that way on its own
  • info Not in the UAE: UPI. It's India-only and we don't show it here

Both: your region comes from the country you signed up in, and you can change it. It isn't guessed from your tax number.
